Create and switch workspaces
The Workspaces page lists the workspaces you belong to. Each row shows the workspace name and your role. If the list is long, use the search field to find a workspace by name.
Create a workspace
Section titled “Create a workspace”- Open Manage workspaces from the workspace menu, or go directly to the Workspaces page.
- Select + New workspace.
- Enter a display name between 1 and 80 characters, such as
Acme Production. - Submit the creation form.
You become the new workspace’s owner. UnwrapEmail opens its overview; if it has no active subscription, the server redirects to subscription setup. Creating a workspace does not activate billing or copy another workspace’s data, members, or tokens.
As the owner, you can activate its subscription and invite teammates. You can still create a workspace if you currently have no memberships.
Switch workspaces
Section titled “Switch workspaces”Choose a workspace from the menu beside the dashboard logo, or select its row on the Workspaces page. The subscribe page has the same workspace menu in its header.
Each selection opens the chosen workspace’s Overview. The previous page and its filters are cleared. The server checks the destination workspace’s subscription and redirects to its subscribe page only when needed.
If you joined a workspace as a member and see subscription setup, ask its owner to activate billing. Joining a workspace and paying for it are separate actions.
Work in more than one tab
Section titled “Work in more than one tab”Workspace pages include the workspace ID in their address, such as /:workspaceId/overview. A bookmarked page opens that workspace after checking your access.
Each tab keeps the workspace in its own URL. Switching one tab does not switch another tab or retarget a form already open there. Check the workspace name in the header before making a change.
The Workspaces page at /workspaces and your personal /profile page are shared across your account. They do not need a workspace ID in their address.
Rename a workspace or find its ID
Section titled “Rename a workspace or find its ID”- Open the workspace.
- Go to Settings → General.
- As its owner, edit Display Name and save the change.
- Use the copy control beside Workspace ID when you need to reference it.
Renaming changes the display name, not the workspace ID. Your personal display name is managed separately in Profile.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- A workspace is missing: confirm you are signed in with the email that received the invitation and have accepted it. An owner or admin can check your membership.
- An old bookmark returns access denied: return to the Workspaces page and select a workspace you still belong to. A link does not grant membership.
- An integration still uses the previous workspace: configure it with a token created in the intended workspace. Dashboard switching never retargets API tokens.
- Subscription setup appears after switching: that workspace needs its own active subscription, even if another workspace is already subscribed.
